1. Passport

   • Passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from Brazil with atleast 2 blank pages.
   • Handwritten passport and passports valid for more than 10 years are not accepted.

2. Photographs

   • Two recent passport size photograph with white background (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)

3. Visa form

   • Visa form dully filled and signed by the applicant(s).
   • The visa application form should be signed by both parents (incase of minors).

Travel Details

1. Flight Tickets

   • Flight Tickets (booked itinerary showing entrance into and exit from Brazil)

2. Hotel Reservation

   • Copy of confirmed hotel reservation, including the hotel address, contact number, applicant's name, and reservation dates for the entire duration of travel.

Financial Details

1. Bank-statement

   • Applicant has to present either their own bank-statement, or the sponsor's statement if they are sponsored by a blood relative or spouse.
   • Sponsor's 3 month bank statement with bank's sign & seal showing sufficient balance and cash flow.

Occupational Details

1. Employed

   • Payslips of last 3 months.
   • Any one of the below letter from the company with the letterhead along with the applicant's name, designation, and signature of the authorized signatory:
   • Leave Sanction letter (or) No Objection Certificate (original letter with company's sign & seal).

2. Self-employed

   • Cover Letter, with the business letterhead (Original with the company seal).
   • Business registration certificate; such as GST certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, Partnership deed, MOA, etc.

3. Student

   • Any one of the below letter from the Institute containing the applicants name:
   • Bonafide certificate (or) Student identity card copy.

4. Retired

   • Retirement Proof. (OR)
   • Pension slip for last 3 months.

Additional Requirements

1. Specific Mandates

   • All documents should be in English. If a document is in any other language, an official translation of the same should be submitted.
   • The Embassy may request additional information/documentation or an interview (at the Embassy or via Skype or WhatsApp) with the applicant, as deemed necessary.

2. Cover letter

   • Stating applicant's purpose of visit and personal details addressing to the consulate (or) embassy as per jurisdiction.

Conditional Requirements

1. Minor Travelling with One Parent

   • Visa Authorized Form, signed by both parents and must be notarized.

2. Minor Travelling Alone

   • If the minor is travelling alone in Brazil, a Travel Authorization Form, signed by both parents, notarized and apostilled by the MEA, is also required.

3. Marriage certificate/Marriage Affidavit

   • Applicable, if the spouses name is not endorsed at the back of the passport of each other.

4. Sponsor documents

   • Sponsorship letter from the sponsor stating the applicants details and particulars for the trip.
   • Employment proof of the sponsor.
   • Bank-statement of the sponsor.
   • Government ID proof (Passport, Driving license, PAN card) of the sponsor if the sponsor is from India.
   • If the sponsor is from Brazil, then passport/driving license copy of the sponsor

5. Staying with friends and family

   • Colored copy of original invitation letter including name/passport number of invitees & inviting person's signature ID/passport.
   • Invitor passport and visa copy.
   • Inviting person's permanent address & Inviting person's contact number.
